We are looking for a dedicated and resourceful Handyperson to join our team on a relief basis. Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will ensure the building is well-maintained and operational, focusing on minor repairs, general maintenance, and supporting the overall functionality of the facility. This role is key to creating a safe and comfortable environment for everyone who uses our services.

Your responsibilities will include carrying out minor repairs, moving furniture or equipment in accordance with health and safety requirements, and maintaining records of property maintenance. You will also liaise with tradespeople on-site and communicate with management about any work required. Participation in health and safety training will be essential to maintaining compliance with organisational standards and best practices.

The ideal candidate will bring flexibility, a proactive attitude, and basic computer literacy for completing mandatory e-learning and record-keeping. While experience in maintenance or a related field would be advantageous, a willingness to learn is equally valued. Respect for all aspects of Christian worship is essential, and you will need to either be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or be willing to undertake the necessary checks.
