Management Accountant

The global client are looking for a Management Accountant is to join a vibrant FTSE 250 organisation in South West London (London Victoria). The successful candidate will bring their accounting expertise to help the global private education and training business manage the group entities.

Client Details

This is an industry leader with over £2 billion in revenue. The organisation is growing rapidly and is looking for a progressive Management Accountant to join the team. The role will report directly into the Corporate Accounting Manager and will also work closely with the Group Financial Controller. The global finance team is large (a wealth of progression and growth opportunities), whilst the Central Group team is made up of 8 people. They are a collaborative team that are keen to add a new candidate eager to grow and develop through the organisation.

Description

The successful Management Accountant will:

• Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements and reports
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans
• Maintain and update accounting records and files
• Analyse budgets and create expense reports
• Examine accounting records to find and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor and manage inventory records
• Coordinate with the finance team and other departments
• Comply with all financial policies and regulations

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• 2-3 years+ of experience in Accounting and Finance
• A degree in Accounting or Finance, whilst also studying towards the ACCA, ACA or CIMA
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Offer

• £35,000 - £39,000 per annum
• Bonus (approx. 10%)
