Radio Access Network (RAN) Technical Subject Matter Expert

£450-550 per day inside IR35 (status and rate non-negotiable)Hybrid role with two days per week in HQ near Basingstoke, Hampshire

My key client, a telecoms giant, are seeking highly skilled Radio Access Network (RAN) Nokia Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join their automation team. These are both on the Nokia side, and ONE on the Ericsson side.
You will require deep expertise in either Ericsson RAN platforms and equipment, along with a strong understanding of Network Automation, Orchestration, and Service Management as well as:-
* Proven experience in Radio Access Networks (RAN) with expertise Nokia OR Ericsson RAN platforms and equipment.

* Strong understanding of RAN architectures, including 4G LTE and 5G NR technologies.

* Experience with network automation tools and platforms.

* Familiarity with network orchestration and service orchestration concepts and technologies
* Understanding of OSS/BSS systems and their integration with network elements

* Experience with bulk provisioning scripting into NetAct and understanding conflict / overload

* Knowledge and understanding of RAN Alliance interfaces such as O1, A1, O2 and M-Plane (R1) and how to implement rApp capability in a multi RAT / multi-vendor environment.
