Summary of the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team which will include working with across multiple of our clients. The role will manage and deliver one or more projects or programme work-streams in order to meet objectives across the business change initiatives. You will be client-focused, so someone with strong stakeholder engagement skills is essential.

The role can be based out of any of our locations (Bristol, Peterborough, Liverpool and Edinburgh), and you will be expected to work on a flexible hybrid basis.

What you'll be doing

  • Make sure the project tasks are done successfully within the agreed-upon time, budget, and quality standards to meet business needs and keep stakeholders happy.
  • Use and promote the right project management practices like planning, scheduling, resourcing, tracking, reporting, and handling risks, issues, lessons learned, and dependencies.
  • Keep good relationships with key stakeholders and customers, making sure what we deliver meets their needs.
  • Look at how projects are going, suggest and make changes if needed to fix any issues.
  • Spot, assess, and handle any risks to the project, taking appropriate actions to minimize them.
  • Create project documents according to the set method and give regular, timely, and accurate updates on progress.
  • Lead and direct the team to ensure we're ready for operations and deliver successfully.

What we're looking for

  • A seasoned project manager with a strong grasp of project management techniques and methodologies.
  • Experienced in managing and motivating teams consisting of both specialized and generalist staff.
  • Proven track record in handling medium to large-scale and/or high-risk projects within the financial services sector.
  • Skilled in managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, both internal and external to the organization.
  • Possesses a diverse skill set with the ability to quickly learn new areas and establish credibility with professionals from various disciplines.
  • Experienced in driving business solution identification and project initiation.
  • Demonstrated history of successful project leadership and delivery.
