Onboarding Account Manager
Permanent full time role
Field-based position, Warrington with travel to clients across the UK
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Onboarding Account Manager to join their team. This role focuses on the implementation of eCommerce and mail products, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for clients across the UK. As a key player, you will bridge the gap between the client and internal stakeholders, working closely with technical teams to design bespoke solutions tailored to the specific needs of each client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams to design and deliver tailored solutions. This may involve Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) integrations, API interfaces, CSV uploads, or AWB screens.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the client's processes, identifying where the company's integration fits (e.g., pre-picking, post-picking, pre-data cleansing, post-data cleansing).
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and enhance product offerings, providing support to team members and broader business stakeholders.
- Manage the onboarding process, including training clients on how to utilize the systems effectively, understanding their constraints, and developing solutions.
- Visit client sites during initial collections, providing on-site or remote support for label carrier production.
- Assist with the installation of hardware, such as label printers, at client locations.
- Act as the main contact for newly onboarded clients during the first two weeks of integration.
- Suggest improvements to internal software to enhance product offerings, productivity, and visibility for clients.
- Communicate and coordinate with Business Development Managers to address any issues during the onboarding process.
- Provide regular daily and weekly reports on onboarding progress to internal teams.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Strong IT experience with exposure to APIs (JSON and XML), and a solid understanding of WMS, including the complexities of dimensions and weights.
- Proven ability to build good customer rapport, demonstrated through previous roles.
- Commercial awareness of client relationships, with the ability to prioritize clients effectively.
- Good understanding of the eCommerce market.
- Experience with WMS/connectors, such as Linnworks and Despatch Cloud.
- Preferable knowledge of bulk systems (e.g., BBS, Cygnus, Matchit), and an understanding of Mail Mark and wholesale industry practices.
Key Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solution-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently and managing time effectively.
- Willingness to travel across the UK as required by the role.
Why Join?
- Be a vital part of a growing company, with the opportunity to shape and improve onboarding processes.
- Engage with diverse clients and work on exciting, varied projects across the eCommerce and mail industries.
- If you feel you meet the above criteria, please apply online for immediate consideration.
