Commercial Account Handler

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Commercial Account Handler to become an integral part of our client's Team based in Ipswich. Their team, renowned for its expertise in the H&L sector, serves a diverse range of organisations both domestically and internationally. Role Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with both new and existing clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Accurately prepare and manage client documentation, secure renewal terms, and explore alternative quotes to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Proactively manage mid-term adjustments and respond swiftly to any changes or needs that arise.
  • Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and transactions, ensuring all data is current and accurately entered into our system.
  • Address client inquiries regarding policies directly or through coordination with insurers, ensuring clarity and resolution.
  • Oversee the confirmation and processing of cover with insurers, diligently follow up on any pending documentation, and ensure the secure delivery of policy documents.
  • Manage account-related queries and credit control issues efficiently, escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Adhere strictly to legal and regulatory standards, protecting both personal and business interests.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in managing commercial client relationships within a brokerage setting is highly desirable.
  • A keen awareness of risk management when handling sensitive customer information.
  • A customer-first approach, consistently aiming for the highest satisfaction and best outcomes.
  • Possession of Cert CII qualification is advantageous.
  • Educational background to at least GCSE level, preferably with a strong understanding of the commercial insurance sector.
  • Highly organized, task-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines while anticipating the needs of clients and colleagues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with proficiency in MS Office; experience with Acturis is a plus.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
