"We’re an award-winning team; well-known for giving tailored advice to specialist clients when they need it the most", says the Claims Manager of this global insurer’s dedicated Care Team.
Our client operates in over 20 countries, and is very much renowned as a world-leader within its chosen markets. The company arranges insurance for some of the most fascinating risks on the planet, and has a reputation for excellence, innovation and formidable customer service.
This particular Complex Claims Team’s client list spans care homes, community & youth organisations, counselling & therapy services, non-conventional schools and colleges, domiciliary care providers and rehab centres, to name but a few. As a result of a sustained period of growth, this has led to the need for an additional Senior Claims Handler.
You will manage a varied caseload including, but not limited to, Employer’s and Public Liability, Professional Negligence and Management Liability losses. You will be proactive in your handling of claims, ensuring that a high level of transparent, honest dialogue is delivered to brokers, clients and all other stakeholders. In addition, you’ll contribute to team projects as required by the Care Claims Manager and the Head of Insurance Claims. Given the profile of this insurer in the market, you will have exposure to a truly fascinating array of claims.
We are open to applications from candidates across a number of areas within the insurance or legal claims sector. As you will benefit from comprehensive training, knowledge of all of the above products is not required, however, as a minimum, it is essential that you have dealt with Employer’s or Public Liability Injury claims. Just as importantly, you’ll possess strong communication, negotiation and IT skills, together with a genuine passion for claims handling.
Many people who join this company cite, "this is the best place I have ever worked at". It is genuinely difficult to find a company that invests so heavily in its staff because they want them to benefit from "proper careers, where every member of staff has a mentor." The company is extremely passionate about developing its staff, and this role has the genuine potential to progress into a number of different areas within the organisation. In fact ,when Aston Charles visited the office recently, it was difficult to find someone who hadn’t recently had, or was soon about to have, a promotion!
You’ll enjoy working from one of the most incredible offices we have ever seen; due to the company’s tremendous growth, it has recently moved into new, state of the art premises within one of Leeds City Centre’s most iconic buildings.
Our client operates a hybrid-working arrangement, allowing you to work 1 day from home. The team are well-renowned in the industry for their friendly, supportive and collaborative environment, and there are lots of sports and social events available, including an incredible annual summer ball!
You’ll be rewarded with a generous basic salary (Negotiable depending on experience), plus a highly lucrative bonus scheme and impressive corporate benefits, which include substantial pension contributions.
