Day-to-Day of the Role:

• Provide tailored support to children with special educational needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.
• Work closely with teachers and other staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
• Assist in the development of social skills and independence among pupils through engaging and interactive activities.
• Monitor and support the well-being and progress of pupils, adapting techniques to meet their unique needs.
• Participate in training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in special education.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Special Needs Education Teaching Assistant or in a similar role with transferable skills.
• A strong desire to make a significant impact in the lives of children with special educational needs.
• Confidence in handling the challenges that come with working in a special needs environment.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a DBS check on the update service.
