We are working with a highly regarded secondary school in Tower Hamlets, London, to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic English Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a genuine passion for teaching English, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
· Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners
· Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary
· Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and learning
· Contribute to the development of the English departments curriculum and resources
· Support students' academic and personal development through mentoring and guidance
· Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events as required

Key Requirements:
· QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
· A degree in English or a related subject
· Experience teaching English at a secondary school level (Key Stage 3 & 4)
· Strong classroom management skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· A passion for English and a commitment to inspiring students
· A proactive and positive approach to teaching
