Overview of the Role

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to deliver best-in-class service to their B2B retailers and D2C consumers. This hybrid role, based in Harwell, Oxfordshire, requires a driven individual who excels in resolving customer queries, managing orders, and liaising with multiple teams to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to pre-order inquiries regarding product specifications and availability across multiple channels.
  • Guide customers through the online ordering process and address post-order queries, including payment, shipping, stock allocation, invoicing, and delivery.
  • Process website returns and credits promptly to maintain satisfaction and process efficiency.
  • Conduct daily fraud and order checks to ensure accuracy and security in all transactions.
  • Utilise software systems to resolve customer queries and process manual orders when necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with Area Managers, Finance, Product, Warehousing, and Logistics teams.
  • Provide timely, professional, and friendly support via phone, email, and live chat.
Key Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in high-volume customer service environments with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Exceptional multitasking and organisational skills with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including MS Office; knowledge of SalesForce Service Cloud and SAP is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A positive, team-focused attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German.
