Exciting Tax Manager role with a well-renowned consumer brand with a global footprint. This is a 12-month contract role based in Central London.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Utilising your knowledge of tax and accounting sytems and processes related to invoice life-cycle
- Ability to translate complex VAT regulations into practical and clear requirements for both tax and non-tax professionals
- Assist with the delivery of planning, real time coordination, and communication of projects related to various aspects of invoice processing.
- Identify and define risks, opportunities, and strategy using your expertise and judgement to support decisions needed to implement the projects
- Collaborate with tax, financial, business and tech partner teams. This includes drafting the appropriate level of documentation to support analyses performed, decisions made and conclusions reached.
- Effectively communicate with and influence partner teams.
- Support engagements with external advisors.
The successful candidate:
- 5+ years VAT experience (Big 4 or professional services or in-house tax experience firm highly regarded)
- Relevant professional accounting or tax qualification
- International VAT experience in both practice and industry
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder engagment skills across multiple departments
- Available immediately or at short notice
