Main responsibility for this role is to fulfil all IBA responsibilities as part of the Operations team. This includes maintenance and day to day handling of the IBA ledgers, both Client & Underwriting. Ensure timely collection / settlement to and from customers and supporting markets of the Overseas offices.
Assist Overseas offices in the collection and settlement of funds to/from clients
Ensure settlement and collection of funds from/to syndicate.
Responsibility for claim settlements paid to brokers and the reconciliation of syndicate funds
Responsibility for the accurate modification of reference data within the accounting system Enterprise Accounts (EA).
Assist the team and IBA Manager to ensure month end processes are run as planned reviewing data accuracy and report generation.
To liaise with the associated affiliated office to ensure their records are updated to reflect any amendments as required
To ensure the accurate modification of processed data by the technical team is completed as required.
Clear and concise communication is vital.
Good knowledge of Insurance in the Lloyds Market.
IBA reconciliation experience essential
Understanding of Slips, associated Endorsements and Closings.
Understanding of premium calculation from broker documentation.
