Global Procurement is in need of a Product Mgmt Support Analyst to support the Product Lead for Third Party Management (TPM) where Archer is the current global tool for Supplier Risk Management & Appian for the Global Register. TPM is a core service from Global Procurement, for colleagues to fulfil their Third Party Risk accountabilities associated with the use of Third Parties underpinned by a globally consistent workflow tool, currently RSA Archer.

Archer is the single platform to be used for all TPM activities on any new supplier engagements, it helps to manage its third parties, i.e. risk, relationship, contracts and performance management and is live across 50+countries.

Appian is the application used for the Global Register which acts as a repository and associated workflow for the management of the Bank's material risk engagements, as received from Archer.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the product focal point for all changes required for the Appian Global Register system.
  • Support the Product Manager in decisions related to the prioritisation of change and the technology spend for Appian.
  • Support the design, delivery, and rollout of elements of the global TPM service and continuous improvement
  • Owner of governance and TPM process and system changes for Appian.
  • Strong experience of engaging with stakeholders across the business, with the ability to influence where necessary
  • Deep understanding of third-party management systems and process
  • Provide strong Procurement subject matter expertise to stakeholders on vision, delivery and architecture design
  • Build a relationship of trust and influence with the DCOO IT team and build strong relationships with vendors.
  • Report on change delivery and service quality status on behalf of service line.
  • Ensure Technology and operational risks are appropriately controlled in line with Group and business objectives.
  • Cultivate an environment that supports diversity and reflects the Bank's brand and values.

Role Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in TPM system implementations, architecture and strategy. Preferably this would be within a banking environment.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in driving change an efficiency within the TPM process and systems
  • Experience of implementing and owning TPM solutions end to end.
  • Archer & Appian experience would be preferred as well as Coupa and Service Now
  • Excellent working knowledge of procurement processes is essential.
  • Track record of forming strong partnerships with external vendors and assurance of their deliverables.
  • Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders with gravitas. Strong communications skills, influencing and negotiation.
  • Excellent written skills with ability to express complex topics and problems effectively.
  • Strong risk and issue management skills.
  • An understanding of Archer & Appian back office functionality: Access Control, Appearance, Application Builder, Integration, Management Reporting, Notifications, Workspaces and Dashboards
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and collaborative skills with the ability to implement enhancements or new applications.
  • Ability to turn Business Requirements into quality technical solutions and analysis of Production System problems and in recommending workable solution
  • Core understanding of Agile Methodology and Change Management processes
