Infrastructure Engineer - Permanent

As an IT Infrastructure Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation and security of our IT systems. You will work across a diverse technology stack, taking ownership of administration, maintenance, and improvements while supporting the business with innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Microsoft Azure Administration: Oversee and maintain our Azure environments.
• Linux Server Administration: Manage and optimize Linux-based systems.
• Network Administration: Ensure the stability and security of networks, including VPNs, firewalls, and routers.
• Windows Server & Microsoft 365 Administration: Support and maintain these systems, including Teams.
• System Monitoring & Security: Utilize tools like Nagios, OpsGenie, and GrayLog to ensure system health and security.
• ISO 27001 & SOC 2 Compliance: Maintain documentation, support audits, and uphold security standards.
• Create and maintain technical guides, WIKI pages, and end-user support documentation.
• Investigate and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with third-party suppliers and vendors to resolve escalated issues.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years in IT Infrastructure Administration.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with IT professionals, end users, and business stakeholders.
• A proactive self-starter who excels at problem-solving and delivering fast results.

Essential Skills:

• Linux Server Administration
• Microsoft Azure Administration
• Monitoring and orchestration tools (e.g., Nagios, Ansible)

Desirable Skills:

• Windows Server Administration
• Microsoft 365 Administration
• Message Queue Administration (e.g., IBM MQ)
• Build/deployment tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
• Network Administration (e.g., VPNs, firewalls like Palo Alto, routers like Cisco)
• Working knowledge of ISO 27001 or SOC 2 standards
• Mentoring junior team members
