The Client
Our client is a highly regarded Retail bank within the U.K. focussing on Middle Eastern client markets.
The Role
The Senior Relationship Manager will join an established team within this UK Bank (Islamic Finance) focussing on clients and contacts within the GCC.
The Senior Relationship Manager will support the delivery of the Wealth Management/Private Banking strategy and objectives, managing and expanding the Mortgage and Investment portfolios of GCC clients within the UK.
The Senior Relationship Manager is expected to maintain the GCC & Middle Eastern client portfolio to ensure long-term and remunerative relationships, achieving £30-40 Million in new mortgage business and reaching a target of £25 million increase in investment growth.
The Senior Relationship Manager will already be well versed in this network, a fluent Arabic speaker who understands the client base extremely well, nurturing relationships with clients and prospective clients, managing enquiries on a day-to-day basis, focusing on maintaining a strong relationship between the client and the bank
The Senior Relationship Manager will confidently grow revenue, increase AUM of portfolio and increase inflows of net new money achieving growth by leveraging brand, channels and RM network
The Senior Relationship Manager is to complete research and analysis to produce credit proposals and presenting these proposals.
The Senior Relationship Manager will take care of the UAE offices and referred clients, ensuring all client due diligence for account openings falls within our clients’ requirements.
The Senior Relationship Manager will address key stages of management, wealth generation, wealth preservation, and generational planning, using appropriate internal or external expertise as necessary
The Senior Relationship Manager is to conduct regular client reviews, attend client meetings and prepare call reports.
The Candidate
Private Banking / Retail Banking experience at Relationship Manager level - Experience of working with GCC HNW/UHNW clients
Fluent Arabic speaker
Islamic Finance Qualification held or working towards attaining (Company to sponsor)
Financial or management related certification
Any diploma or higher certification related to investment advice or portfolio management
CeMap and UK recognised investment qualification is desirable
Financial analysis in order to research and write credit proposals accurately
An understanding of Financial Crime, KYC and onboarding requirements
Presentation skills - ability to explain complex information clearly and in a structured manner
