Duration: 12-18 Month Fixed Term Contract

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our team based in West Malling. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the transformation of our finance system, which is currently in the build phase, as well as support the transformation of our HR & Payroll systems, with a go-live set for 2026. This role offers the chance to contribute to major projects within the organisation, involving both business and technical analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the ongoing transformation of the finance system, assisting with analysis and gathering requirements as part of the build phase.
  • Get involved in the HR & Payroll system transformation, from requirement gathering through to the system's go-live in 2026.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements.
  • Help identify business processes and ensure they are aligned with the new systems.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining essential project documentation, such as business requirements, process flows, and system specifications.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to both business and technical teams.
  • Support testing, user acceptance, and system implementations as required.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of project lifecycles, from initial analysis through to post-go-live support.
  • Experience in both business and technical analysis, with the ability to bridge the gap between the two.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and translate technical jargon into clear, understandable language.
  • Experience with gathering and documenting requirements for systems transformations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and support key project milestones.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in finance or HR & Payroll system transformations would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.

Personal Attributes:

  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Enthusiastic and adaptable, with a keen interest in learning and developing within a dynamic environment.

If you are a Junior Business Analyst with a passion for systems transformation and an interest in both finance and HR projects, we would love to hear from you. Apply today and be part of a key transformation in our business!
