Isaac James Associates is delighted to be working with a leading Manufacturing business with global operations to appoint an Assistant Accountant into their Lincolnshire offices.

This role will include:

• Produce weekly and monthly reports.
• Use data extraction tools to explore complex Data Sets and resolve anomalies.
• Prepare variance analysis reports, providing thorough explanations for variances and emerging trends.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Produce month end Journals.
• Report all monthly and quarterly output figures.
• Work on ad-hoc projects within the General Ledger Team.

Required skills and experience:

• The successful candidate will be a newly or almost Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Some exposure to SOX would be useful to have
• Excellent accounting technical knowledge.
• Demonstrable prior experience in a Record to Report environment.
• Due to the nature of the role, this is 100% office based.
