Management Accountant - Fully Remote

Atkinson Moss is delighted to be supporting a national business in their search for an interim Management Accountant. Working remotely and supporting the wider finance team, the Management Accountant will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Management and Statutory Accounts preparation and contribution to the relationship with the auditors.
• Act as a business partner for internal teams and ensure accurate accounting for key stakeholders.
• Management and control of the fixed asset register.
• Posting general ledger journals such as accruals and prepayments.
• Creation and maintenance of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and subsequent monitoring of costs against these.
• Calculation and preparation of the quarterly VAT return.
• Helping the transactional team where needed during peak times or absence.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), technically strong and available to start in the New Year. Experience of working in a multi-site organisation and Microsoft Dynamics would be hugely advantageous.
