The client is seeking a talented and ambitious Audit Senior to join their growing team. This role is perfect for newly or recently qualified ACA or ACCA accountants who are eager to progress their careers towards a managerial level. You will work closely with a range of clients, gaining exposure to varied sectors while developing your skills and expertise in a supportive environment.
What you will be doing as an Audit Senior
- Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements, managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Lead audit teams, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
- Liaise with clients to ensure efficient project management and the delivery of high-quality work.
- Work with a diverse client base across sectors such as tech, retail, and property, gaining valuable experience in different industries.
- Identify areas for improvement in clients' financial systems and controls, providing practical recommendations.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Support business development efforts, identifying opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with recent qualification status.
- At least 50% of your current role should involve audit work, with a strong understanding of audit processes and standards.
- FRS 102 and IFRS experience would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A proactive, ambitious approach, with a desire to progress towards a managerial position in the near future.
- Experience working with a varied client base, ideally including exposure to tech, retail, and property sectors.
- A team player with strong leadership potential and a commitment to professional development.
