Night Concierge &8211; Mayfair

Night Concierge - Mayfair - £14 to £15 per hour - (equivalent to circa £32,000 to £33,000 per annum)

My client, a prestigious and boutique property developer specialising in luxury apartments within the West End, are seeking a highly motivated and confident Night Concierge to join their close-knit team in Mayfair.

The position is primarily customer focused providing a high level of service to high end clients.

Fluency in Arabic is preferred.

This is 6 month fixed term contract which gets extended every six months.

Duties:

• Perform your duties and provide concierge services, in the prescribed manner, as instructed by the Building Manager or Head of Hospitality.
• Inspect, on a daily basis, all internal areas of the private residential building and report any defects, security or health and safety concerns to the Building Manager.
• Set an example for other staff members by being courteous and helpful to all guests in addition to members of the public, and contractors.
• Manage the reservations inbox and booking enquiries
• Receive and keep safe registered mail and deliveries for residents.
• Deal with all telephone enquiries and log messages.
• Ensure the development is well managed, safe, clean and a secure environment in which to live and work.
• Enter all relevant comments/details in the development log.
• Ensure that all incidents or accidents are logged correctly.
• Fully conversant with all emergency procedures and understand the layout of the building and the operation of all equipment
• Ensure that all fire doors are kept closed & fire escapes and exits clear at all times.
• Adopt and implement the procedures as directed by the Management.
• Assist with the annual fire and health and safety risk assessments.
• Supervise any keys which may be held, ensure that they are correctly logged in and out in accordance with agreed procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years' experience as a concierge / receptionist / front of house within luxury property or luxury hotel / hospitality
• Fluency in Arabic is preferred
• Well presented with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm during intense situations
• Pro-active and ability to work independently

Hours: Night shift pattern 7pm to 7am, 4 days on, 4 days off
Salary: £14 / hour to £15 / hour (equivalent to circa £32,000 to £33,000 per annum)
