Secondary - Cover Supervisor

Do you have a natural ability to manage a classroom and inspire students? Haverhill Secondary School is looking for a skilled Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team. This role is perfect for individuals who excel in classroom presence and management, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.

• Maintain good order and ensure students stay on task with their work.

• Support students with any questions or difficulties they might have during lessons.

• Follow the school's policies and procedures to manage student behaviour effectively.

• Report on students' progress and any issues that arise during the lesson.

Requirements:

• Strong classroom management skills and a confident presence.

• Ability to engage and motivate students of various ages and abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Previous experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential.

• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different subject areas and classrooms.
