As an Account Handler at Clear Group, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our clients, managing their insurance portfolios, and supporting the team in delivering bespoke insurance solutions. Working collaboratively with Account Executives, you will help to retain and grow client relationships while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and compliance. Your role will be vital in driving operational excellence and contributing to the success of our Leamington Spa team.
About You
We're looking for a dynamic and organised individual with a proven background in insurance account handling. You have exceptional communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service. Ideally, you'll have experience in commercial insurance and knowledge of the following classes of insurance - Property, Casualty, Motor, Professional Negligence including Cyber and Management Liability for a variety of trades/industries. Aligned with strong understanding of compliance requirements, but most importantly, you thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to grow within our team.

Key Responsibilities
Client Management
- Respond promptly and professionally to client queries, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Assist in preparing and renewing insurance policies, ensuring accuracy and seamless cover.
- Offer expert advice on insurance products, identifying opportunities to enhance client coverage.
Policy Administration
- Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and on time.
- Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and company compliance standards.
Insurer Negotiation
- Liaise with insurers to secure favourable terms and meet client needs.
- Negotiate premiums and coverage terms to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
Compliance and Regulation
- Adhere to FCA regulations, Consumer Duty obligations, and Clear Group compliance policies.
- Stay informed about regulatory and market changes to provide accurate advice.
Collaboration and Teamwork
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver seamless client support.
- Share knowledge and best practices to improve service delivery across the team.

Experience and Qualifications
Essential:
- Experience in a similar account handling role within the insurance sector.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
- Proficiency with insurance platforms and client management systems.
- Strong understanding of compliance responsibilities, including FCA regulations and Consumer Duty obligations.
Desirable:
- ACII qualification or a willingness to work towards it.
- Experience with Acturis or similar systems.
