Accounts & Audit Senior

M B Connected are partnering with a well-established, mid-sized accountancy practice, looking to appoint an experienced Accounts & Audit Senior to join their firm situated on the outskirts of Crewe. Salary circa £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + study support.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, from individuals to SMEs and larger corporations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and tax regulations.
• Conduct audits and tax compliance work.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.
• Contribute to process improvements and leverage technology to enhance efficiency.

Key requirements

• Working toward ACA or ACCA qualification.
• 2-3 years prior experience working in an Accountancy Practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proven experience in managing a diverse client portfolio.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach.
