Primary - HLTA

Role: HLTA 

Location: Kettering 

Start Date: January 2025 

Pay: £90 - £140 

REED are currently working with a highly regarded primary school based around the Kettering area, supporting them recruit a qualified HLTA to start full time from January 2025. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver teaching activities to pupils, covering PPA and teacher absence

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

• Work collaboratively with teachers to ensure excellent pupil progress

• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups

• Assist in creating a positive learning environment

• Support assessment and recording of pupil progress

• Participate in playground duties and school events

Essential Requirements:

• HLTA status or higher teaching qualification

• Proven experience working across primary age ranges (Nursery – Year 6)

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills

• Excellent classroom management abilities

• Good understanding of the primary curriculum

• Experience in planning and delivering lessons

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
