Hays Education are looking for an experienced Exams and Data Manager for a secondary school in Cheadle. This is a permanent role on a full-time, term-time basis. The Exams and Data Officer is expected to provide a comprehensive examination service for the school with overall responsibility for all aspects of planning and organising examinations. In addition, to support the school data team in producing student timetables, student reports and maintaining assessments and other databases.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with all staff e.g. heads of department regarding entries
• Disseminating information and answering enquiries regarding external examinations with staff, students and parents
• Managing the daily running of external examinations.
• Organising exam materials, including question papers, in accordance with regulations.
• Organising the examination rooms.
• Providing a centre timetable to include dates, times, venues and number of candidates.
• Arranging invigilation, including briefing on school procedures
• Overseeing the checking and distribution of certificates
• Managing pupil transfer data - including assessment data
• Producing annual reports
• Data security for the school.
