Description

• Assisting with the planning and forecasting of sales
• Ensuring optimal stock levels to maximise sales while minimising markdowns
• Working closely with the buying team to manage and optimise product ranges
• Assisting with the coordination of promotional activities and seasonal events
• Providing support for the retail team as required
• Regularly reporting on performance metrics
• Conducting competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Profile

A successful Assistant Merchandiser should have:

• A degree in Fashion, Business, Economics, or a related field
• Previous experience in an own-branded fashion environment
• A strong passion for fashion, in either womenswear, menswear, or childrenswear
• Previous working knowledge of bricks-and-mortar retail, online, and wholesale stock
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills to analyse high data volumes
• Strong understanding of retail trends and ability to adapt to consumer behaviour
• Proficiency in Excel functionalities and other data analysis tools
• Excellent calculation, communication and teamwork skills
