Our client is a major FMCG distributor in the UK. We are delighted to assist them in their search for a Key Account Account Area Sales Manager covering the Tyne & Wear part of England.
Reporting into the Sales Director, this role is both field and home based with a dual remit of Key Account Development and developing new business through establishing key contacts and target customers in a fluid and competitive market.
Key Accountabilities as Key Account Account Area Sales Manager:
·Develop relationships with target customers and businesses with a view to developing new business and turning them into key accounts
·Build stronger relationships with lapsed or lost customers.
·Responsible for developing sales opportunities with existing accounts (key account retention).
Ideal Person for Key Account Account Area Sales Manager:
·Able to demonstrate a proven track record in developing new business.
·Proven ability to regularly exceed sales targets in your career to date.
·A team player.
·Excellent communication skills at all levels with a consultative approach to sales that adds value.
