Finance Business Partner - £60-70K - Leeds Hybrid

Role: Finance Business Partner (Qualified Only)

Location: Leeds (3/week on-site) ; Also considering Manchester, Nottingham and Newcastle applicants

Salary: £60-70K Package - £50-57K Base + £6K Car Allowance or Car Scheme + 15% Bonus

Company Itself: One of the largest of its kind in the U.K. They are specialists in the automotive space and are the group entity for a variety of brands. There isn't much in the British Automotive space that they haven't touched! You will be working in the centralised group finance function.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with regional operations teams across various sites / branches (Yorkshire and the North), providing insight and understanding to ensure the group meets its financial objectives
• Standardise and formalise processes as well as drive rigour across the national network
• Have a desire to "get under the bonnet" and "have a view", dissect operational processes and propose KPIs to measure and drive productivity and make the right commercial decisions
• Regular reporting of financial performance and KPIs and associated commentary
• Ownership of budget process for the Region(s)
• Partner with branch managers on capital project approvals and reporting
• Provide assurance to the FD that revenue & costs are appropriately recognised and leakage is minimised
• Review period end close, identifying opportunities or risks that may appear

Stakeholders:

• Heads of Ops, Ops Finance Director, Head of Commercial Finance as well as Operations, People Teams, Sales and Marketing personnel.
• Responsible for financial performance for UK in the North & Scotland

Essential

• Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

Desirable

• Previous experience working in the automotive space
