A well-established law firm is seeking a motivated Property Litigation Solicitor with 0-2 years PQE to join its Real Estate Dispute Resolution team based in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive solicitor at the early stage of their career to work within a supportive, collaborative environment and gain valuable experience handling a diverse range of property litigation matters.

The Role
The successful candidate will provide high-quality legal advice on a variety of real estate disputes, including:

  • Disputes related to residential and commercial leases.
  • Disputes arising from the buying and selling of land.
  • Disputes involving encumbrances and other property rights issues.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing case information and making sound, practical decisions.
  • Conducting legal research and applying technical precedents effectively.
  • Ensuring exceptional client care in line with professional standards.
  • Contributing to marketing and business development objectives, such as supporting client events and creating written content for publication.


Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualifications:
    • Degree with a minimum 2:1 and a strong LPC pass (or equivalent).
    • A current, clean practising certificate from the SRA.
  • Experience and Skills:
    • 0-2 years PQE in property litigation or relevant legal experience.
    • A good understanding of property legislation and an ability to apply it practically.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with adaptability for different audiences.
    • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft applications and document management systems.
    • Demonstrable experience working towards targets and maintaining accurate time recording.
    • An understanding of business development and client engagement activity.
