• Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring history lessons that engage and challenge students across Key Stages 3 to 5.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment criteria for history and use this to inform teaching practice.
• Foster a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity about the past and its impact on the present.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and whole school training events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop new curriculum materials and effective teaching strategies.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Degree in History or a closely related subject.
• Proven experience in teaching history at secondary school level.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
