Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting new job opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join an established and continuously growing organisation based in Portslade area on a permanent, part time basis.

This role will suit someone from industry or practice with experience of year end preparation and corporation tax looking for reduced hours.

Your duties will include:

• Assist in the preparation Year End accounts compliant with FRS 102 and Companies Act for circa 65 entities in the group
• Assist in the preparation of Tax computations and CT600’s to accompany the Year End statutory accounts
• Assist in the quarterly VAT preparation and submission process for circa 20 group entities
• Support the Financial Accountant with other compliance areas such as R&D, CIS Tax, Office of National Statistics filings, Corporation tax calculations.
• Support in the implementation and development of new ERP system.

Key requirements:

• Experience of Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-look ups)
