A fantastic opportunity has arisen and Academics are recruiting for an experienced KS1 teacher to teach a reception class. This position is starting after Christmas in a welcoming school in Newport with an outstanding senior leadership team. This is a long term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The school is looking for a reception teacher with lots of energy, knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and someone who would attend parent consultations and staff meetings.

What we need from you?

• Proven experience in teaching KS1
• Must hold a DBS and be registered with the EWC (We can assist you with the process)
• Hold a passion for creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
