Corporate Access Coordinator - Capital Markets/Equity/FICC (experience required)**
Duration: 9 Month contract
London: 3 days onsite a week required.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail oriented, and hardworking individual to join our Corporate Access Team. The team is part of the Global Research department and interfaces with multiple constituencies within the firm, the investment community, and our corporate clients while providing our equity and ficc investing clients with access to management teams through Non Deal Roadshows, Field Trips and Investor Conferences. In 2022 we organised over 300 Non-Deal Roadshows, 23 Conferences and 60 Fieldtrips.
Duties & Responsibilities - The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
* NDR Planning - logistics (flights, accommodation, venues, cars, jets, AV, printing etc), booking meetings, liaising with external clients and corporates, liaising with internal partners (Sales, Research, Broking), budget management. Obtain feedback from institutional investors and draft feedback reports
* Conference Planning - 1-1 scheduling, schedule management, corporate and investor contact, post-conference reporting, maintaining conference systems and website, travel to and on-site management of the conference. Partner with our Corporate Events team on conferences
* Interact and build strong working relations with sector professionals including research, sales & trading and investment banking across divisions to gain a broader understanding of the corporate community and ensure our best institutional accounts are given access to management.
Skills Required
* A basic understanding of the Equity/FICC business; minimum 1-2 years' experience in industry
- have an understanding of the internal relationships within an investment bank
- have an understanding of the needs of both the corporate and institutional client
- liaise regularly with Sales, Banking, Research, Corporate Broking and Capital Markets
* Professionalism and comfort interfacing with senior management, both internally and with our corporate clients
* Proficiency with MS Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and willingness to learn new systems and technologies
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
* Communicate ideas in a professional and articulate manner
* Work independently but also as part of a team.
* Be flexible with their working hours and be able to travel for conferences
* Work in a time sensitive environment with the ability to make good business judgments quickly and pro-actively ask questions
* Quick learner with a pro-active approach
Preferred Skills:
* Strong written and interpersonal skills
* Working knowledge of Zoom, WebEx, Open Exchange, Ipreo / Big Dough
* Knowledge and aptitude for understanding companies and stocks
