Assistant Accountant - 6 Month Contract

I am recruiting for an Assistant Accountant on behalf of one of my East Sussex based clients. Due to some changes in the finance team they require an additional resource for a 6 month period.

This role requires an immediate start and candidates must be able to commit to the full length of the contract. The business works on a hybrid basis, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Reporting directly into the Finance Manager you will be carrying out the following tasks -

- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cashflow forecasting
- Supporting month end close
- Company VAT preparation and reviews
- Fixed assets and pre-payments
- CIS preparation

Candidates that have experience at this level is essential due to the 'hit the ground' nature of the position.

This is a temporary contract paying £175-200.00 per day (dependant on experience),inside IR35.
