A well-regarded and client-focused law firm is actively seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join their busy private client department as an Associate. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their career within a collaborative and specialist team.

The Role
The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team comprising two partners, a senior associate, and a newly qualified solicitor. They will handle a broad range of private client matters, offering tailored advice and practical solutions to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload, including:
  • Drafting wills and estate planning.
  • Advising on tax planning and trusts.
  • Probate and estate administration.
  • Powers of attorney and managing the financial affairs of incapacitated or vulnerable clients.
• Delivering clear, empathetic, and practical advice to clients.
• Maintaining high standards of client care and professionalism.
• Contributing to the continued success and growth of the private client department.

The Ideal Candidate

• A qualified solicitor with at least 3 years of PQE in private client law.
• Strong academic background with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Numerate and interested in tax, with sound knowledge of estate and succession planning.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
• A "can-do" attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
