Machine Operator - Evening Shift

The Sweet People is the UK's leading supplier of branded, promotional confectionery, dealing with sweets, biscuits and our very own chocolate which we make in Leighton Buzzard.

We are looking for someone to be part of the Chocolate Production Team, where you would be working on multiple chocolate moulding equipment.
This is a mixed role between operating machinery and cleaning of the machinery you operate.
The role is suited to someone who enjoys using hand tools, occasional heavy lifting and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty.

You will:

Work closely with other machine operators to ensure production goals are met and maintain a cohesive work environment. - Participate in training sessions and suggest improvements to processes or equipment to enhance productivity and product quality.

Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring the work area is safe and machines are operated in a manner that minimizes risk

Accurately record production data, machine performance, and any incidents that occur during your shift. Complete all required paperwork and reports.

Working hours: 3pm - 11pm (30 minute break)

30 hours per week.
