Job Opportunity: Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes & Surrounding Areas
Salary - Up to £45,000 

We are currently assisting a valued client in their search for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis. The company, based in Milton Keynes, operates within
the commercial and industrial sectors across Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas, delivering high-quality services to a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of commercial heating systems, ensuring the continued smooth operation of equipment for a number of prestigious commercial clients.

Your main duties will include:
 Service, repair, and installation of commercial heating systems (boilers and associated equipment)
 Diagnostic fault finding and troubleshooting
 Purging, strength testing, and installation of gas pipework (up to or above 6”)
 Completing and maintaining PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) paperwork
 Ensuring efficient maintenance and repair of plant equipment
 Adhering to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations
 Carrying out work in a safe and professional manner at all times
Required Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must hold the following essential qualifications and experience:
OFTEC
 COCN1 Core Commercial Gas Safety
 ICPN1 Installation First Fix on Commercial Pipework
 CIGA1 Indirect Fired Commercial Appliances
 CDGA1 Direct Fired Commercial Appliances
 CORT1 Overhead Radiant Tube & Radiant Plaque Heaters
 TPCP1a Tightness Testing & Direct Purging of Pipework (up to 1m³)
 Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in commercial environments
 Full, clean UK driving license

Desirable Qualifications:
 IPAF-Certified PAL Card
 WRAS qualifications
 TPCP1 Tightness Testing & Purging (above 1m³)
