What You'll Be Doing

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of our projects, ensuring value for money while maintaining the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cost Management: Preparing budgets, estimates, and cost plans, and managing project finances to ensure profitability.
  • Procurement: Sourcing and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best value while maintaining quality.
  • Contract Administration: Drafting and managing contracts, including variations, claims, and final accounts.
  • Monitoring Progress: Evaluating project performance, assessing risks, and providing financial insights to keep projects on track.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Reporting: Preparing detailed cost reports, forecasts, and recommendations for senior management.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to make an impact. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in Quantity Surveying: Proven experience in the construction is desirable
  • Strong Financial Acumen: A thorough understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Attention to Detail: You have a keen eye for detail and the ability to spot potential risks or discrepancies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You’re confident working with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to build strong relationships.
  • Problem-solving ability: You can think on your feet and resolve challenges quickly and effectively.
