Nightshift Machine Operator - Temp to Perm

Blue Arrow are working with a market leading steel trading and distribution company in Newbridge industrial estate for a Machine/Warehouse Operative on a temporary to permanent basis.

This position is working Monday-Friday
2 shift patterns are available 1 Nightshift and 1 Nightshift/Backshift rotation
Overtime is available

£12.50 /hour

Please note there will be 4 weeks training / induction where you will be required to work dayshift

Due to the location of the site, drivers with their own transport would be preferred

As part of your daily duties you will be:
- Driving a forklift (training provided)
- Loading vehicles using an overhead crane
- Operating a steel saw
- Manual handling
- Moving heavy loads with machinery
- Operating in a safe manner following all health & safety procedures on site.

The company will train the successful candidate on all machinery and all health and safety procedures in place.

Experience working within the steel/metal industry or working with similar machinery would be advantageous.
