Warehouse Operative

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a Warehouse Operative in Lutterworth, LE17 4XN

** This is a long term role with permanent contract opportunities with GXO**

Your pay rate as a Warehouse Operative:

Pre 12 weeks

• Day shift: £11.44 per hour

Post 12 weeks

• Day shift: £11.70 per hour
• Overtime rate is paid at £17.55 after 12 weeks of service

Typical working hours as a Warehouse Operative:

There are 2 shifts available

• Monday until Thursday from 06:00 until 16:00
• Tuesday until Friday from 06:00 until 16:00

Your role as a Warehouse Operative:

• Handling of customer return electrical and retail items with data input into a warehouse management system.
• Numeracy and literacy are essential and full training will be provided.
• Stacking various type of equipment accordingly to customer standards
• Keeping Warehouse clean and tidy including keeping gangways clear and litter removal
• Relocating products using forklift (Training provided if necessary)
• Checking products are fit for purpose and working efficiently
• Scanning and sorting products ready to be dispatched
• Organising and disposing of all recyclable goods
