Stores Assistant

Our client has a vacancy for a stores assistant to support their busy engineering team.

This is a full time role based at their factory in Bookham, working under the supervision of the stores manager.

Hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday and 8:00AM-3:45PM Friday

It’s a flexible role that includes, but is not exclusive to:

• Taking deliveries, unpacking and booking parts into stock.
• Picking and kitting parts in to kits for the workshop.
• Picking, packing and shipping of spares orders.
• Housekeeping of the stores and marshalling areas.
• Assisting with the unloading/loading of vehicles manually and using a fork lift ( full training given )

You need to be :

• Punctual.
• Self-motivated.
• Good communicator.
• Physically fit as the role involves some manual handling.
• Familiar with basic office software.
