Assistant Accountant - REMOTE

Assistant Accountant required to work a 3 month temporary contract with an immediate start. Working remotely, 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday, on a salary of £30,000.

Advanced Excel skills are essential, and candidates will ideally be AAT qualified or currently studying.

Duties:

• Preparation of month end accounts including posting accruals and prepayment journals
• Bank payment runs
• Preparation of VAT and LFT returns
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, business performance plan and 5 year business plan
• Data provision for annual audit
• Preparation of manual invoices as required
• Raising and goods receipting of purchase orders, checking of purchase orders from other users, closing and maintenance of purchase orders

Experience:

• AAT qualified or studying toward
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Month end accounts experience
• Previous experience working in an accountancy based role
• Previous experience of data analysis and reporting
