Accounts Assistant to start immediately

Search is working with a brilliant property development company based in Wythenshawe, South Manchester who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team and start immediately!

They are a supportive and dynamic team, eager to welcome a new member who will actively contribute and integrate into their collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Your main responsibilities will be to record and process invoices from vendors, suppliers, contractors, and sub-contractors while ensuring accuracy of work. You will build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with suppliers and negotiate payment terms, resolve disputes and ensure timely payments with no outstanding balances. You must adhere to compliance including tax laws, building codes and government regulations. You will also manage weekly time sheets for month-end submissions and process subcontractor invoices.

Requirements:
- Great time management is essential
- Good communication skills and presentation
- Experience with accounting software - SAGE Line 50
- Confident and motivated individual
- Minimum of 2-3 years Accounts Payable experience
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task

Desirable:
- ACCA part-qualified or AAT Level 3/4 with relevant accounting experience.

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per year depending on experience

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: 9:00-5:00, Office Based
