Insurance Account Handler

An excellent opportunity to join an Insurance Broker in Essex that are looking to recruit an experienced Account Handler to work in a busy team. The role will be primarily focused of Personal Lines Insurance, however you will also be assisting the team deal with a mixture of Commercial risks also.

Main Duties:

• Handling renewals, new business and mid term adjustments
• Producing cover notes, debit and credit notes
• Liaising with clients and underwriters
• Produce presentations and gather all valuable information
• Obtain quotations
• Analyse and provide advice on risk and insurance issues
• Deal with any types of Personal Lines including Household, Motor and Travel insurance
• Handle all problems and queries
• Ad-hoc duties as required

Essential Skills Required:

• Experience in a similar Account Handling role
• Excellent Personal Lines and/ or Commercial Insurance knowledge
• Strong knowledge of general Insurance policies and procedures

What you need to know:

• Permanent office based role - Essex
• Salary £28,000 - £32,000 - depending on experience
