The Warner Executive are collectively responsible for delivery of the Warner Strategy, with individual members of the business responsible for implementing key initiatives under the strategy. This role, reporting to the CFO, is responsible for tracking strategic initiatives progress, facilitating cross-functional interdependencies and enabling prioritisation choices. It needs to ensure the effective articulation and communication of priorities via a framework that enables consistency of approach but also drive clarity and enable effective stakeholder engagement.


What will you be doing?

  • Supporting the CFO to work with Exec on prioritisation and implementation progress to hold the business to account for delivery against strategic plan
  • Oversight of annual strategy review cycle, including co-ordination of strategic initiatives leads and management of monthly progress tracking cycle
  • Preparation of information for stakeholders including Group and Shareholder
  • Supporting those who are responsible for delivery of strategic initiatives to co-ordinate effectively across functions
  • Support change governance & coordination of strategic projects, including creating and maintaining reporting cadence, templates and structures
  • Attendance at Warner Exec meeting meetings, coordinating pre-reads, writing board papers and capturing actions where appropriate


What are we looking for?

  • Significant Project Management experience, both co-ordinating complex projects and oversight across multiple projects or workstreams
  • Broad understanding of all business functions both centrally and, ideally in hotels
  • Experience in a strategic planning, benefits tracking or portfolio management role.
  • Experience in running an effective process for communicating strategic priorities, critical programmes/projects and responsive change initiatives.
  • Experience working with senior management, across all functions and building relationships to ensure the effective progress reporting and management of risk to benefits.
  • Operating with senior management, across all functions of a business
  • Experience in a strategic planning, programme management, benefits tracking or portfolio management role.
  • Experience in implementing an effective process for communicating strategic priorities, critical programmes/projects and responsive change initiatives. 
  • Experience coordinating and facilitating a coherent approach to assessing opportunities and risks and helping to inform and contribute to strategic decision making and prioritisation.
  • Experience working with senior management, across all functions and building relationships to ensure the effective progress reporting and management of risk to benefits.
  • Experience in supporting strategic planning and update sessions with senior teams, supporting the communication and clarity of direction and progress.
  • Experience in co-ordinating project delivery to ensure delivery of a tangible commercial benefit
