Overview

At Andersen EV, we're on a mission to make Electric Vehicle (EV) charging as simple and smart as possible. By creating truly intuitive premium products that allow EV drivers to charge their vehicles at home and work, we are changing the game in the industry as it enters mass market. Based in Stewartby (between Milton Keynes and Bedford), we manufacture our charge points in-house and have a team of highly qualified electricians to install our charge points across the UK.

We are recruiting a detail orientated hands-on Quality Manager with at least three years’ experience in the electronics manufacturing industry in a similar role.

The Role

Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer you will take responsibility for managing the Quality Management System and all processes ensuring that all products leaving our Stewartby factory fully comply with and exceed demanding customer and company quality and safety requirements. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance processes, as well as the ability to analyse data and implement effective quality management systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in senior management reviews, directly influencing the business plan and key performance indicators.
  • Continually evolve best working practices and procedures to deliver ISO9001 and internal excellence and certification processes.
  • Overall responsibility for the Quality and Procedure Manuals.
  • Co-ordinate and support all QA and QC activities within the company.
  • Take individual ownership of the quality of all products leaving the factory door.
  • Manage all customer quality improvement initiatives.
  • Lead supplier quality assessments and improvement initiatives.
  • Have responsibility for production test and inspection activities and resources.
  • Champion root cause analysis and preventative actions.
  • Actively support new product development activities.

The Person

To be successful, you will have proven experience in a similar senior quality position within an electronics manufacturing environment. With a strong attention to detail, you will excel at delivering the highest levels of customer service, best working practices, and sustainable quality of products.

This is an in-person on-site role.
