We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Sheffield to cover a maternity leave. This role involves teaching KS3 and KS4 Science, with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. The position is fixed until July 2025, with the potential to extend beyond this period.

• Role Type: Fixed-term maternity cover until July 2025 (potential for extension).

• Subjects: KS3 and KS4 Science, including a GCSE curriculum specialism.

• Qualifications: Candidates with QTS or FE qualifications are welcome to apply.

• ECT Support: Suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with support provided to count towards induction terms.

• Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring engagement and progression for all students.

• Plan and prepare engaging lessons that align with the curriculum in your science specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help them reach their full potential.
