Finance Manager

Reporting to the CFO, as Finance manager you will undertake a broad role across accounting, reporting and FP&A supporting this start-up wealth management business. Duties will include;

• Responsibility for the month end close process
• Responsible for producing monthly management accounts and analysis
• Supporting the CFO with strategic planning, budgets and forecasts
• As a start-up entity, be heavily involved in putting in place robust financial controls and processes and reporting
• Producing value added MI reporting and analysis around KPI’s and general business performance
• Liaise with the external accounting firm to enable them to produce annual financial statements
• Liaise with the parent company to oversee AP/AR and resolve any issues
• Support the CFO on regulatory reporting to the FCA
• Payroll
• Calculating financial advisor commission payments

You will be a qualified accountant or qualified by experience with strong experience within management accounting and reporting and someone looking for a broad role and happy to be hands in the detail supporting the CFO across all areas.

Any experience of Xero a bonus along with any experience of implementing or driving financial controls and processes as this is a start-up.

Hybrid working, 3 to 4 days office and 1-2 days from home.
