Steel Erector Fabricator

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Steel Erector / Fabricator to join a well-established company based near Manchester

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000, Depending on Experience

Location: New Mills, SK22 - Site based 90% of the time

About The Company

They are a leading independent company that provide steel fabrication and engineering services through many sectors in the UK. Currently working on a large-scale site in Bristol, with other sites planned for next year.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Must be able to read and interpret drawings
• To receive technical instructions and information (verbal, written and drawings)
• Erect metalwork products according to specification and timescale, using hand and powered tools. The use of access equipment will be a requirement
• To complete records and documentation
• To keep working environment clean and minimise waste of materials and resources
• To work safely and efficiently
• Must hold CSCS card & full UK driving licence
• External away working will be required
• Other duties as required by the business needs

Candidate Requirements:

• 3 years minimum experience gained in a similar industry
• MMA, MIG and TIG welding
• Slinger signaller certs for crane lifting operations - advantageous
• Telescopic forklift certs - advantageous
• IPAF / MEWP certs - advantageous
• Must be physically fit
