Teaching Assistant - 121 SEND

Hays Education are working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' primary school in Bury to secure a Teaching Assistant to start in January for two terms

Your new role
You will be working as a Teaching Assistant on a 121 basis with a pupil of Reception age with Complex Needs
The school are looking to offer an adapted provision in a space outside of the classroom and in their sensory room
You will be working under the direction of the Class Teacher

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal Teaching Assistant for this position in Bury will have/be;
A Teaching Assistant qualification
Recent and extensive experience supporting a child with Complex Needs is essential
Nursery/Reception class experience
Ability to extensively use your own initiative whilst under the direction of the Class Teacher
Experience supporting a pupil, away from the classroom, on a sole 121 basis
Sensory Room experience
